Poll-Ette Founders Scholarship

Honoring the women that laid the foundation for the National Organization of Poll-Ette's (NOP). The National Organization of Poll-Ette's were organized in 1965 and at that time it was known as National Council of Poll-Ette's.
 
Purpose:
Two $500 Scholarships awarded to one male, and one female member of the NJHA to continue financing their education. This scholarship will be funded through the Hereford Youth Foundation of America (HYFA), but managed by the NOP.
 
Requirements:
Applicants must be between the ages of 17-22 years of age and has attained the status of a high school senior, but not completed his or her senior year in college. Must be a member of the NJHA. Previous winners are not eligible to receive the award for a second time.
 
Process:
Three (3) copies of your high school or college transcripts which ever is applicable and acceptance letter into college if just entering or transferring into a four-year university.
Four (4) completed copies of this two page application, sent to
Poll-Ette Founders scholarship chairman, chairman’s address will be listed.
 
The DEADLINE for submitting your application is June 15th of the year of application.
 
A panel of judges will evaluate the application. Interviews will be held at the Junior National Hereford Expo. Finalists will be notified of the interviews prior to the interview process
 
Scholarship will be awarded at the National Jr. Hereford Expo each year.
